I've been writing songs for more than a decade now, starting out with the band, Somebody's Cousin from 2002-2006. But when that band came to an end, I discovered what many songwriters must have worked out before me - you can't just stop! So I've been writing and recording solo ever since. There haven't been too many gigs because in my line of work (ministering in a church) your weekends are mostly spoken for! But that's all about to change - we're making room for something awesome to happen with this music. Right now, we (me, my wife Ness, and our nearly-two year old son, Sam) live a few k's north of Katikati in the Bay of Plenty, surrounded by Kiwifruit orchards, over the road from one of the local Marae's. As well as working on this album, I'm currently working on the manuscript of book entitled, 'The Practice of Being: Loved' which grows out of my experience of pastoral ministry and God's grace.
A new album of songs that capture and encourage the conversation between people and God. Songs that tell God's story and ours.
